Time to Celebrate

It's my birthday today! I've always gotten excited about my birthday. On my 5th birthday, according to my mom, I was eating breakfast at the table when I stood up in my chair threw my arms up in the air and yelled, "IT'S MY BIRTHDAY!" I've done it every year since then, it's kind of become my thing.

A lot of people, especially women, don't like their birthdays. But I love mine.

Because for me it's not about aging or time passing. It's my personal New Year. A time to reflect on the last year and set intentions for the year to come. It's a fresh start.

My intention for last year was to be of service. As a coach helping my clients prioritize themselves without the conditioned weight of guilt. As a mom practicing what I preach as a model to my daughters. As a citizen actively showing up to make the world a safer place for the future generations of women and girls. As a woman who believes in all of you, your ability to do what you want to do, and your power to change the world one person, one step at a time.

I am so proud of what I accomplished last year.

The world became even scarier for women this year. There is still so much work to be done.

But I am still celebrating the progress I've made as an individual and the progress we've made as a collective.

This year I want to be intentional about celebrating. Myself and all of you. I hope you'll join me.

It's easy to notice and celebrate the big things - the fancy vacation, the raise, hitting the end of year goal. But when you only celebrate those major milestones, you miss out on so much.

You can also celebrate...

Honoring the commitments you make to yourself

Investing time, money and energy in you

The days where you don't cry or get angry at work

Taking a deep breath instead of sending the snarky email you'll regret later

Listening to your intuition

Making decisions according to your Human Design strategy

Saying no when you don't want to do something

Saying yes when you do

When you take time to celebrate and acknowledge what's going well, you learn what's working for you. What helped you create the wins. So you can repeat what's working and the wins continue to get bigger and bigger.

I want to help you create wins and celebrate them. I have 1:1 spots available and I would love to be your coach!
