Are You a Priority?
You are the most important person in your life so you should be your own top priority.
Here are some signs you aren't.
You squeeze activities that support your physical and mental well-being into the very early morning or late at night. Which means they often get cut short or don't happen at all.
You're counting your shower or commute as "me time".
You consider hair, nail, and wax appointments self-care.
You only do things for yourself when you've taken a time out from real life, like a day off or a vacation.
You can't remember the last time you did something simply because you wanted to.
If any of these describe you, it's time to focus more on you and what you want.
Making yourself a priority isn't about doing things for yourself around the edges of your life. It means restructuring the flow of your daily life to put you front and center.
You can do this without letting your other priorities and obligations fall to the wayside. And without adding even more to your already packed to-do list.
