My 15 year old daughter has been reading a lot of historical fiction recently. Over the weekend she said to me that she might need to take a break.
Because it made her angry to see how women were treated and restricted in the past.
I told her it's important to remember how far we've come. Even though we still have a long way to go.
So today, on International Women's Day, take some time to reflect on how far you've come.
What decisions did you spend time agonizing over that now feel like a blip on the radar?
What skills do you have that seemed impossible to learn and now feel like second nature?
What have you accomplished that you used to think you could never do?
Write them down and really celebrate them.
Because what you do on the individual level has an impact on all of the women around you.
Happy International Women's Day!
I have open 1:1 coaching spots available. Make yourself a priority and claim yours now. Schedule a consult to get started.
During the consult we'll talk about what you're looking for and what's missing. I'll lay out a process to help you get there. And then we'll decide if we want to move forward. Either way, you'll get info about your chart and some strategies you can implement right away.
